You can usually find him in the wood workshop testing new ideas and making prototypes. Rooted in the rich heritage of Finnish design and craft, Ville honours the materials — and seeks clever ways to scale his ideas for industrial production while preserving the tactile, human element. Through his work Ville is searching for beauty and harmony through simple, quiet expression. While collaborating with furniture brands, Ville likes to keep his hands connected to the craft by producing his own collection of furniture under his studio’s name.
