FitWood products are now available on Intersport’s online store. This is a big step forward for the FitWood brand — Intersport is the world’s leading sporting goods retailer and carries with it the heaviest hitters in the business: Adidas, Nike, Reebok, and more.

“Intersport is huge in Europe,” said FitWood CEO Matias Kukkonen. “As FitWood products are premium in quality, they are more niche than the mass volume, cheaper categories. Therefore it is encouraging for us to see that even the biggest volume-based retail chain sees the value that our high quality, beautiful and sustainable products give to their customers. This will give us more gas in enlarging our retailer network across Europe and the rest of the world.”

Intersport was founded in 1968. Today, their yearly revenue exceeds 11 billion euros across 5400 locations in 45 countries. Their slogan — “Sport to the People” — resonates with the FitWood brand as well.
